  • In-person and over the phone technical support for 1000+ Windows XP pro machines including:
    • Software – If it runs on windows, we supported it (MS Office, IE, Thunderbird, Firefox, Voyager Library Management software, etc.)
    • Hardware – If it fits inside the box, we fixed it (motherboard, RAM, sound, video, hard drive, cd-rom, floppy, etc.)
    • Network – If it connected to something else, we monitored it (switches, hubs, cabling, wireless, TCP/IP, proxy, vpn)
    • Servers – If it told another computer to do something, we had one (print servers, user authentication, web servers including apache, tomcat, etc. running all different OSes: MS Windows 2000 Server, Novell Netware, Linux, Sun OS)
    • Peripherals – If it plugged in, we repaired it (printers, photo copiers, barcode scanners, barcode printers, self-service checkout machines, etc.)
  • User management including user creation, deletion, and password resets
